In the world of corporate gifting, “luxury” is a word that is often overused and misunderstood. Is luxury just a high price tag? Is it a famous logo?
At King Fly, we believe luxury is depth. It is the weight of history, the resonance of culture, and the ability to tell a story that transcends time.
When we set out to create our latest GWP ecosystem, we didn’t look at fashion trend reports. We looked back—900 years back—to the sky over the imperial palace in the year 1112 AD.

The “Auspicious Cranes” (瑞鹤图) is not just a painting; it is a documented miracle. Painted by Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, it depicts a flock of cranes swirling above the palace gates against an azure sky. It represents peace, longevity, and divine blessing.
Our challenge was immense: How do you engineer a masterpiece into a manufactured product? How do you take a painting that hangs in a museum and turn it into a GWP that a modern consumer can touch, use, and cherish?
When we set out to create our latest GWP ecosystem, we didn’t look at fashion trend reports. We looked back—900 years back—to the sky over the imperial palace in the year 1112 AD.
The Inspiration:
A Propitious Omen from the Song Dynasty

The first challenge was the color. The “Azure” (天青色) of the Song Dynasty is legendary—a color described as “the sky after rain.” We went through dozens of fabric swatches to find a silk satin that captured that specific, serene luminosity.
But the soul is in the embroidery. We used high-density embroidery to recreate the swirling clouds and the graceful cranes. It’s not just a print; it’s a texture. When your fingers glide over the pouch, you can feel the flight of the cranes.
1. The “Cloud Pouch”:
Stitching the Azure Sky

A GWP ecosystem must offer a complete experience. To complement the pouch, we designed the “Crane Comb.” Crafted from natural wood, it features a golden crane motif inlaid on the handle. It turns the daily act of combing hair into a moment of mindfulness and grace.
The entire set is presented in the “Treasure Box,” a rigid box inspired by ancient imperial lacquerware. Opening it feels like uncovering a secret from history.
2.The “Crane Comb” & “Treasure Box”:
A Ritual of Grooming

The “Celestial Cranes” collection proves a vital point for brand managers: Culture is the ultimate differentiator.
In a market flooded with generic items, a GWP that carries a cultural soul becomes more than a gift—it becomes a collector’s item. It tells your customers that your brand has taste, depth, and a respect for beauty that endures.
